Project InvestED
Build Your Knowledge, Build Your Wealth
What is Project InvestED?
Project InvestEd is a nonprofit initiative that equips high-schoolers with vital knowledge on investing and personal finance. We firmly believe that knowledge is the key to financial freedom. Through engaging seminars, online educational resources, and exciting games and competitions we provide students with the essential skills and understanding needed to make informed financial decisions and grow their wealth through various forms of investing.
We hold in-person sessions at The Woodlands College Park High School as well as online through our discord. Anyone can come to either of the sessions. By clicking the register button at the top of the page, you can join the Discord, where you can ask questions and attend informative sessions. We also have some of our content on the website in the form of short articles and interactive quizzes.
When and where are sessions?
How do I begin investing?
If you are under 18, you cannot open your own brokerage account. You will need to open a custodial account with the help of your parent/guardian. You will likely have to go through the stock broker your guardian is using.

If you are unable or don't want to do this, you can still learn a lot about investing through Project InvestED when you decide to begin. You can also participate in stock simulations using fake money to learn. For example, you can create a free account for thinkorswim by TD Ameritrade, to actually invest in real-time stock simulations while using "paper money."
